Police seek witnesses to Aggravated Robbery
Christchurch Police are appealing for witnesses after the Guthrie Bowron paint shop in Fitzgerald Avenue was robbed at knife point.
Robbery occurred around 8.20am on Friday 14 August 2009.
Offender entered the shop armed with an ornate black handled knife which had a 15cm blade. He escaped on foot with a small amount of money.
Offender described as: Caucasian, possibly Indian or of Middle Eastern decent, mid to late 20's,180 cm tall, medium build, clean shaven with black shoulder length hair.
Offender described as wearing a dark blue beanie with a logo on the front, dark blue or black coloured wind jacket and dark blue work pants.
He was seen running out onto Tuam Street.
"The shop Manager was shaken but not injured", says Detective Jo GUY.
