Attemted robber suspect smashs through glass window

At approximately 3:30pm today there was an attempted robbery at the Albert Sports Bar on Albert St.

During the incident the alleged offender has gone through a glass bar window and and as a result has possibly seriouly injuried himself.

There has been a trail of blood left by the person as he has fled from the scene on foot. Police are concerned for the welfare of the individual due to the amount of blood left in the immediate area.

He was last seen in the area of Main & Ruahine St.

Police are asking people in the immediate area to check their addresses but not to approach him if located and to contact Police immediately.
