Hastings crash kills one

Police are currently at the scene of a fatal crash on Middle Road, in the Hastings area.

Police were called to the road at approximately 3.20pm after a motorcyclist crashed and was killed at the scene.

It appears the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash, and the male rider was killed instantly.

The Police serious crash unit are investigating.

The age and further details of the male will be released once next of kin have been advised.
