Crash closes road in Franklin

SH2 near McPherson Road, Mangatawhiri, Franklin, is temporarily closed due to a fatal crash.

It is believed that one person is dead and another trapped as a result of the two car accident.

All emergency services are in attendance and working to clear the scene. It is unknown as to how long the road will be closed.
