Hamilton stabbing release 4

Hamilton Police investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at a Melville address on Friday have completed their area canvas and are expected to finish their scene examination today.

Officer in charge of the investigation, Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Page, said the investigation was progressing well with detectives following good leads.

"We're currently in the consolidation phase awaiting the results of forensic tests which may take some time to complete," he said.
