Wigram Airbase in Christchurch may have closed recently, and while this may be sad news for some, though not for the Canterbury Blokart Club, because they now have the use of a section of airstrip near the Aircraft Museum.
On Sunday 6th of September at 1pm the Canterbury Blokart Club will host a "Have A Go" day.
This is an annual invitation to the public to come and try out this great new sport.
The location is beside the Air force Museum.
The museum benefits from fees collected for the use of the tarmac by the Club.
The Club is also exhibiting at The Boat Show and Boys Day Out to be held in Christchurch this weekend.
Blokart is a "NZ MADE" product.
