Fatal crash State Highway One, Dunsandel

Police, Fire and Ambulance are in attendance at a fatal vehicle crash on State Highway 1, Dunsandel. A car and truck have collided. It is unknown from which vehicle the deceased is from.

The road is currently blocked and will be all afternoon. A detiour is being puit in place, with sign posting being put out by the local road controlling authority. Police are manning the detours until signs are in place.

The detour is along Leeston-Dunsandel Rd, Irvines Rd, and Sheats Rd. Motorists should be advised to take care as some of the detour roads are shingle. There will be delays negotiating the detour.
