Fatal crash Sh30, Lake Okataina, Rotorua

Emergency services have been called to a serious vehicle crash on SH30, Lake Okataina, Rotorua District.
Initial reports are that only one vehicle was involved in the crash.

One of the occupants is deceased and one other passenger is being transferred to hospital by Ambulance with serious injuries.

SH30 is still open to traffic, but motorists can expect delays. Motorists should consider using an alternate route where possible.
