Gang fight in Taupo

In Taupo yesterday at about 5pm a vehicle with patched gang member occupants drove to a rival gang address.

The visit resulted in a fight. Bats and bottles were used as weapons.

The fight involved 6 males.

One person was taken to hospital and was treated for cuts and abrasions before being discharged.

Two males were arrested as a result of police attendance.

Inquiries are continuing.
