Arson At Prime Minister's Electorate Office

 Rodney CIB is investigating the circumstances surrounding a deliberate fire which has caused only minor damage to the Prime Minister’s electorate office in Kumeu.

Police say that at 3.00am this morning Thursday 10 September 2009 a window has been broken at the office which is located at 365 Main Road Kumeu.

A fire has then started inside the building. No one was inside at the time. The cause of the fire has not yet been established. Fire service officers are assisting the Police.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have been in the Kumeu area at about the time of the fire to contact them.
