Police seek missing lady

Police in New Plymouth are asking for help from members of the public in locating a 69yr old woman who has gone missing overnight.

The woman - whose name is Marie - was last seen at her Dorset Avenue home at approximately 9.30pm Thursday evening. She is reasonably fit - and has dark black hair, however she suffers from dementia.

She may be wearing a blue top with blue pants however this cannot be confirmed. Police are concerned that she may be disorientated and wandering the streets.

A number of search teams searched the streets in the vicinity of Dorset Avenue until shortly before 5.00am, but Police are asking residents to check their properties for the missing woman.
