AOS call out in Chch

At about 2.40pm yesterday afternoon Police received information that a man had been seen carrying a shotgun into a house on Stanmore Road between Cashel and Hereford Streets in the Christchurch suburb of Linwood.

Police cordoned the area and the Armed Offenders Squad was deployed. A Pistol Grip Shotgun was recovered from the address. Several occupants of the address are assisting Police with their enquiries.
