Police, Fire and Ambulance are currently attending two separate vehicle crashes on State Highway 6, one in the Lower Buller Gorge at Tiroroa by the Ohikaiti River Bridge where a truck and trailer has rolled, and the other located at the eastern end of the Buller Gorge on State Highway 6, approximately 1 kilometre from Inangahua Junction (where SH 6 and SH 67 intersect).

There are no injuries with the truck crash, however a crane has been called in to right the truck and trailer, so motorists can expect delays of up to two hours (approximate).

The crash near Inangahua Junction has three people with injuries and Ambulance has dispatched the rescue helicopter to the scene from Greymouth. It isn't clear how long it will be before the road is cleared.

Police urge motorists intending to travel on State Highway 6 in the Buller Gorge to delay their travel plans for two hours or expect delays while the emergency and other agencies work to clear the crash scenes.
