Snow in central North Island

 There have been reports of snow in the Manawatu Gorge, Pahiatua Track,and Norsewood areas, as well as high winds on State Highway 1 between Sanson and Foxton and in the Ashurst area.
State Highway 1, north of Bulls is also being affected by flooding. Motorists are urged to exercise caution in these areas.
