2 injured after light plane crash on Great Barrier

 A light plane crashed into a swamp near the Great Barrier Island runway. The plane was an outbound flight of Great Barrier Airlines. The scene was attended by the Great Barrier Health Team and Police.

The plane had 2 pilots and 4 passengers on board. 1 passenger and 1 pilot suffered moderate injury to their backs and are being taken to Auckland Hospital by Westpac Helicopter.
