Results of the New Zealand under 17 and under 15 Inter-association badminton finals

Results from the New Zealand Inter-association under 17 and under 15 badminton finals being played in Hamilton

Auckland played North Harbour in last round of round robin play in both age groups. Both teams were unbeaten after the earlier rounds so these were effectively the finals. Auckland took the double winning both national titles (under 17 and under 15) winning the under 15 final 9-7 and the under 17 final 10-6.

Auckland showed just how dominant they are in the under 15 age group with their number II team finishing third, defeating the top South Island team Otago 15-1

The individual championships, with 250 children from all over NZ, start tomorrow (Monday)
