Christchurch Police are appealing for the victims of several assaults in the Cashel Street/High Street area, which occurred around 2.30 am on Friday 9 October 2009 to come forward and contact Police.

Several people have already come forward and made complaints about an incident. Police believe that there may be further individuals who have also been the subject of assaults at this time.

It is understood that the occupants of a red Ford Falcon, a pedestrian walking near Tattersalls Lane, and a Busker in High Street may have been injured as a result of what occurred.

Three individuals have been located and charged and enquiries are continuing.

Police would ask anyone who has knowledge to come forward and contact Detective Sergeant Mark Reid at the Christchurch Central Police Station on (03) 363 7717.
