Arrest follows Wellington bank robberies

Police have arrested a male in connection with two bank robberies in Wellington this week.

Three members of the public identified the male, whose face appeared in a CCTV image printed in the Capital Beat section of today’s Dominion Post newspaper. The information led to the male being located in Johnsonville and arrested.

Police would like to thank the members of the public who responded with information.
