homicide investigation - Longview Rise, Massey, Waitamata.
About 7.20 pm on Saturday 10 October 2009 police were called to an address in Longview Rise, Massey for a family violence incident.
On arrival they found one person dead in the address. Another person was waiting for the police.
The scene was secured and is being guarded overnight.
A homicide investigation is underway.
No one else is being sought.
