Lake Rotoma search

A search commenced just after 7pm this evening on Lake Rotoma, following the discovery of a small aluminium boat going round in circles on the lake. A helicopter and search and rescue staff failed to locate the person believed to be the owner of the boat. Darkness forced the abandonment of the search which will resume tomorrow morning at 6am.
