Fatal crash south of Huntly

Police and Emergency services are presently at the scene of a fatal vehicle crash, state highway 1, just south of Huntly. SH1 is blocked and diversions are in place.

Traffic heading South from Huntly are to divert at Huntly and take the Tainui bridge to Riverview road by pass. Traffic heading North to divert at Ngaruawahia to Hakarimata road.

Traffic using Orini road are being diverted back towards Ngaruawahia.

Diversions are in place, but expect delays.
