Car rolls on State Highway Two Waihi

A vehicle has rolled on State Highway Two near Woodlands Road in Waihi. Emergency services are at the scene of the crash.

Two of the eight occupants of the vehicle are critically injured and will be airlifted to hospital.

State Highway Two is blocked with traffic being diverted southbound onto Woodland Road and northbound onto Old Tauranga Road.
