Wind warning for motorists in Wellington

Police advise motorists to exercise caution whilst driving south on SH1 between Ngauranga Gorge and Wellington City due to high winds. Particular caution is to be taken by motorcyclists and drivers of high sided vehicles. Drivers are to ensure they drive to the conditions and watch their following distances.
