Nikau Rd, Bombays, south of Auckland

At about 4pm today, a glider crassed into a paddock by Nikau Rd in the Bombays, south of Auckland. The sole occupant was found unconscious by Police on arrival and died a short time later.

He is a male caucasian in his late 50s-early 60s. Enquiries are currently in motion as to his identity.

Police and other Emergency services are in attendance.
