Pedestrian in serious condition after crash

Police are attending a serious crash between a truck and a pedestrian that happened about 1230 pm on Kaiawa Rd, Mangatangi, Franklin District.

The pedestrian is in serious condition.

The Serious Crash Unit is on its way to attend the incident.

The road will be closed. Traffic is being turned around at Mangatangi Rd on one side, and Workman Rd on the other side of the scene
