Flights to Wellington sell out for big weekend in the Capital

The promise of a great game of soccer is enticing thousands to the Capital for the All Whites’ qualifier game on Saturday night.
"All flights from Auckland to Wellington are sold out from midday today till 4pm tomorrow," says Air New Zealand General Manager Domestic Airline John Whittaker.
Air New Zealand has increased capacity by 20% from Auckland and Christchurch to Wellington to accommodate extra passengers.
"Two extra Boeing 737 flights from Auckland will operate tomorrow, we’re using larger A320 aircraft for some existing services and have added two additional ATR turbo prop services from Christchurch," says Mr Whittaker.
