Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision Wellsford

Police are in attendance at a fatal motor vehicle collision on State Highway 1 and Wayby Valley Road, Wellsford. The collision occurred between two cars, and one person is confirmed deceased at the scene.

A full road closure is in place and diversions for southbound traffic is along State Highway 16, and northbound traffic route is Kaipara Flats Road.

Ambulance, Fire and the Waitemata Serious Crash Unit are in attendance.
