Mobil Cannons Creek robbery

Porirua Police are using CCTV footage to help identify a male involved in a robbery at Mobil, Cannons Creek on 22 November 2009.

The footage shows the male visiting the shop to speak with a Mobil employee a few minutes before the incident. At around 7.25pm the male returned saying he had a knife and wanted money.

The male left with a small amount of cash and some cigarettes in at least two Mobil branded shopping bags. He was last seen walking into nearby Berkshire Street. No-one was injured during the incident.

The offender is of Maori or Polynesian appearance, dark complexion, short black hair, medium build with facial stubble. He is approximately 20 years old and was wearing a bright blue baggy tee shirt with white writing on the front.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the male's identity is urged to call Police.
