Truck fire blocks road

Police and Fire Service crews are at the scene of a truck which has caught fire on SHI, Tongariro National Park.

The vehicle is currently blocking the Road and the scene location is described at the 'first' of the 'three sisters' on the Desert Road.

Diversions are currently in place and are expected to remain until at least 06:00 am. Diversions are in place.
