Police seek elderly male victim

Counties Manukau police are trying to locate and identify an elderly male who was assaulted outside 565 Great South Road in Manukau.

The incident occurred on the 2nd of December at approximately 10:00am.

The male was assaulted and fell to the ground where he was kicked by his attacker. A member of the public intervened and the victim left the scene on the number 568 bus heading towards Botany via Otara.

The victim is described as a Polynesian male aged between 70-80 years of age, wearing a brown suit with sneakers.

Police have arrested and charged a 45 year old male in relation to this incident.
