About the authors:

Nicola McCloy is the author of nine books including the bestselling Whykickamoocow, which delves into the meaning of the names of many New Zealand towns, and Made in New Zealand, the stories behind the brands. She is also a travel writer, focusing on provincial New Zealand. Hailing from Southland, but based in Auckland, Nicola spends plenty of time out in the backblocks exploring the best this country has to offer.

Fiona McRae began her career in catering in London that continued on her return to New Zealand. She is a partner in a kiwifruit orchard and is enthusiastic about using local seasonal produce. No longer working as a caterer, she is a non-fiction editor with a special interest in cookbooks.

The Great Kiwi Vege Road Trip by Nicola McCloy and Fiona McRae is a full colour paperback with flaps published by David Bateman Ltd priced at NZ$34.99 available mid-December.
