Police called to Railway Station in Takanini after body found near tracks

At about 5.00am this morning, Police and Ambulance were called to the Train Station in Takanini.

Located there was a deceased person in very close proximity with the tracks. The affected lines are closed and some delay are to be expected for both those travelling north and south.

Police are investigating identity of deceased and circumstances as to cause of death.
