Burglery - Salvation Army Shop Kilbirnie

WELLINGTON

At about 5.30am on 20/12/09 the Salvation Army Shop located at 31 Onepu Road, Kilbirnie was burgled. The safe with approximately $900 was taken. This money is used to help the community by running Salvation Army programs and helping people in need.

The safe was a grey electronic safeguard safe. It is about the size of a microwave and has a keypad on the front.

Two males were seen exiting the building with the safe. One was of European decent the other was Maori or Polynesian.
