Fatal crash - SH 2, Pahiatua

At approx 7:40pm yesterday evening a vehicle rolled on SH2 south of Pahiatuha.

An occupant in the vehicle at the time of the crash and died at the scene.

The cause of crash is unknown at this stage and further enquiries are pending.

Fire, Ambulance and Police attended the incident and the road was closed for a short period while specialised police units conducted a scene examination.

The details of the driver will not be released until the appropriate relatives have been advised.
