Fatal Crash - SH1 between Ngaruawahia and Taupari

A male believed to be around 30 years was killed when his car left the road and rolled down a bank on SH1 between Ngaruawahia and Taupari at 0120 hours this morning.

He died about 2 hours later at Waikato Hospital.

Diversions are in place.

It is unknown how long it will be before the road is cleared but this will be updated.

NOK have yet to be advised.

The deceased was the sole occupant.
