Police and Ambulance in attendance at Lake Taupo

The body of a middle-aged man has been found at the main Lake Taupo lakefront.

Police and Ambulance services are in attendance.

Taupo Police say the circumstances behind the death are still to be determined, and inquiries are currently underway. A potential drowning wouldn't be ruled out at this stage.
