Crash - Hibiscus Coast Highway North Of Orewa

Police north of Orewa are dealing with a fatal vehicle Crash.

The crash occurred near to the intersection of Schischka Road and Hibiscus Coast Highway Wenderholm.

The Crash involved two vehicles and one person has died as a result of injuries gained. Three other people have minor injuries.

The road is closed and all traffic north and southbound is being diverted via SH1 through the johnson Hill Tunnels.

Police advise that given traffic returning from Holidays into Auckland this is likely to cause added congestion.
