Car rolls on South Western Motorway in Auckland

A car has rolled on SH20, the South Western Motorway in Auckland at the junction with SH20A.

A 50 year old man was injured in the crash and is suspected of receiving a fractured skull.

t appears at this early stage that the vehicle hit the centre barrier and rolled onto its side.

Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

Police have closed the road while the vehicle is removed and to allow an examination of the scene to be conducted.

Update 7:13pm - The motorway has just reopened.
