Newlands motorcycle fatality update

Wellington Police say next of kin notifications have been made for the deceased motorcyclist who had been earlier involved in a Police pursuit yesterday, 13 January.

The rider was Leith David Barnes, a 28 year old from Timaru.

Anyone who saw the motorcyclist or Police patrol car traveling between State Highway 1 and the suburb of Newlands is asked to call Wellington Police on 04 381 2000.
