Power outage is affecting Auckland and traffic

A power outage is affecting large parts of Auckland at present.

I am still trying to guage the extent of the problem but it would appear traffic lights are affected for most parts of Auckland.

Police are identifying major intersections and deploying staff that available.

We are also making enquiries regarding the cause of the problem and how long it is likely to last.
