Gas leak - Straven - Riccarton Roads in Christchurech

A gas leak in underground pipes at the intersection of Straven and Riccarton Road is being attended by emergency services and gas companies etc.

Riccarton Road has been closed to traffic and diversions are in place.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the Riccarton Road area as traffic delays will be expected.

Repairs are expected to last until 1430hrs.
