Albany Fatality - Driver Charged

A 50 year old man will be appearing in the North Shore District Court this morning after a serious crash incident in the suburb of Albany yesterday.

North Shore Police say the man has been charged with dangerous driving.

They have not ruled other serious charges being laid.

An elderly male driver died in the multiple car crash.

A post mortem examination will be held this morning.

Police investigations into the incident are continuing.

The IPCA has been informed and internal police enquiries have commenced.
