Vehicle fire closes motorway Mt Wellington - Southbound

12:30 - The Auckland Southern Motorway, Southbound Lanes, will be closed for approx 40mins to allow police and other emergency sevices to clear debris following a vehicle fire.

The area of closure is restricted to; Mount Wellington as far as Otahuhu. 

Motorists travelling in the vicinity are advised to seek alternate routes such as Great South Road. An update will be posted once the motorway is clear.
