Crashes cause delays on Northern motorway

13:00 Northbound motorists can expect delays due to weather-related accidents on the Northern Motorway.

A Truck has ended up on it's side, straddling the median barrier between Esmonde Road and Northcote interchanges; a usual slow patch normally, and up to seven cars are reported to have been involved in another, southbound crash, north of Oteha Valley.

Motorists can expect significant delays and are asked to exercise care and patience.
