Tauranga Armed Offenders Squad attend incident in Opotiki

Members of the Tauranga Armed Offenders squad attended an incident in Opotiki township this morning, after Police officers were threated with a machete at a residential address in the town.

The Police officers were attending a call to the address.

The incident has now been resolved, with a male being taken into custody.
