Colonial Knob track male identity sought

Porirua Police need the public's help to identify a male acting inappropriately towards a female at Porirua's Colonial Knob walking track.

The incident occurred at the top of the track on Monday 8 February 2010. The male approached a woman who was sitting near a fence. He sat next to her and acted in a manner that made her feel very uncomfortable.

The male is described as Maori with short black hair, about 5'6" to 5'7" tall and about 36-38 years of age. He was wearing blue shorts and a blue singlet.

Members of the public in the area may have noticed suspicious activity or saw what happened at the time.
