Police appeal for info on Aggravated Robbery

Counties Manukau Police is investigating an aggravated robbery that took place at around 3.00pm on 15 January 2010 at a park on John Walker Drive, Manurewa.

Detective Constable Frank Tian says that the victim, a young male, was resting in the park when a male offender approached him and demanded his orange hat. When he refused the offender took out what appeared to be a BB gun and threatened to kill the victim.

The offender snatched the victim's hat and left in a white four-door car.

He was described as Maori, 17-18 years, 178cm, slim, with a number 1 hair cut and slanting eyes. He wore black sunglasses, an orange bandana around his lower face, a grey hoodie with a white t-shirt underneath, and black three-quarter length shorts".
