Heavy rain causes hazardous conditions

Police are urging drivers to exercise caution when driving on the regions roads this morning.

Due to the heavy rain overnight, and still continuing in some areas, driving conditions are hazardous with reduced visibility.

Commuters should expect delays and allow plenty of time for their travel plans. Safe following distances should be observed as often these type of conditions result in an increase in nose to tail vehicle crashes.
