Kings College Student Death

This morning at 7.20am Police attended Kings College in Otahuhu. A 15 year old European male student was unable to be woken by College staff in his dormitory.

Detective Senior Sergeant Darrell Harpur says, "Ambulance were called immediately by College employees. When they arrived they performed further CPR but were unable to resuscitate the young male. Police are conducting an investigation on behalf of the Coroner, there are no suspicious circumstances at this stage. This is a tragic sudden death."

A post mortem will take place today to establish the cause of death.
