Body found in Port Taranaki

At 9.40pm last night, a body of a middle-aged male was found at the Breakwater at Port Taranaki by Port staff.

The Coroner has been advised, and a post mortem will be held to determine the cause of death and the identity.

A search for the missing person from Sunday 14th February 2010 has been suspended, pending the outcome of the post mortem.
